Heimat [haimat] is a German word that cannot be translated into a single English term. It refers to the place where one feels at home, one’s country, village, or childhood house.
For this project, I focused on a small chalet in Switzerland where I often went with my family. Using photos and my memory, I recreated a catalog of its furniture, full of objects I remember fondly. Most of the images were generated with artificial intelligence.
